[RC] Shoeing - Jim & Drin Becker

At what stage of shoeing do you guys prefer your horse to be at for doing a ride? One week ? Two weeks ? Will you do a ride on a horse that is say four weeks into a shoeing ? What about six weeks ? I usually always try to be at around one to two weeks for a ride but I also usually only do one ride a month so this is easy to work out but now I am running into some rides that are only a couple weeks apart and hate to re-shoe every three weeks . I went to a ride a couple weeks ago with a friend and her horse was at six weeks on her shoeing , isn't this putting allot of stress on the legs ? What do you shoers have to say about this ?
