Heidi, I think the key there is 'some" of your clients are adept. The average horse owner isn't and may end up sending gallons of dmso somewhere it doesn't belong. I've had my own horses and done a lot of my own health care for them for 40+ years, but I would not run a gasonastric tube or Iv by myself.

However, it is safer to give both than to overdose either...

Just curious why not. As one who has used gallons of DMSO over the years
for various sorts of inflamatory processes, although I prefer to give it
IV, it goes down just fine as a drench diluted about 50-50. Some of my
clients were quite adept at doing so.
