[RC] Bad Accident - Bruce Weary DC

Hello Mary--
If your horse survived the initial injury, the odds are with him that he can recover. The question will become "Will he be serviceable and have a decent quality of life after recovery?" It's probably too early to tell, and your vet will have a better idea with the passage of time. Until then, they have great drugs to keep him comfortable. A little prayer and keeping yourself busy might help.
We forget that these wonderful animals are mortal, and made of flesh and blood. They work so hard for us, just because we ask. And they give back far more than what we can ever do for them. That's what makes it so painful to see them injured or in pain. We all know you will do whatever is in your power to do for him. Good Luck, Bruce Weary
