[RC] Horse running on too much adrenaline - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

My horse was doing some top tenning the past two years without any problems and
since my goal is to do Tevis this year I have been trying to slow her down and
just finish rides but she still wants to go faster and fights with me and uses
so much adrenaline that she shakes. She never seems tired or does poorly at
vet checks except the times she is still high and doesn't want to stand still
at the vet checks and then she will take a little more time to come down. At
one of the latest rides she got a B on muscle tone (she has never got less then
A's on anything) from the adrenaline and being tight but the next vet check she
was fine but then got all excited again at the final vet check and didn't want
to stand still. Before she was top tenning she didn't have this adrenaline
problem and didn't shake. I feed her 1 flake of alfalfa/1 flake grass per day,
beet pulp,natural glo, plat.perf.magnesium,Vit.E and Sel.. If anyone has any
suggestions on how to help correct this problem please let me know. Thanks.
She is a 10 year old mare.
Sheri
