Were you following someone in the dark that had a glow stick on
their horse? I followed someone on Tevis last year that had a
glow stick in the horses tail. I saw that thing swing back and
forth all the way down Calif Loop. Thought I was gonna hurl! 


I had read that here so worried when Jody put a glowstick in her & her
daughter's horses tails. Turned out it was great. Jody's got amazing
night vision and was flying down the trail. If it hadn't been for those
tail lights on her horse I wouldn't have had a clue what to follow. Never
bothered me at all. I did like the way they put green on front of their
horses and red on the back.
