[RC] Stall walls - Betty Edgar

OK, I've been wanting to ask this question for a long time so here goes.
Has anyone found a good material for lining stall walls, one that horses
can't get their teeth into? I've had several horses who rake their teeth
over the plywood walls until they find a spot that they can start chewing
on. It would be great if I could find something that came in large sheets,
like 4 x 8 and could install it over the old damaged plywood with the "Halt
Crib" painted spots that look so ugly. It's a daily routine to inspect and
paint the latest chew spots, particularly in one horse's stall. He got
everyone else into the game too. They have ample grass hay morning and
evening on a regular schedule, each stall has a 20 x 60 sand/pea gravel
paddock plus this time of year they get turn out to a 5 acre area for 1/2 a
day so they shouldn't be doing it out of boredom. So, any ideas will be
welcomed.
Thanks,
Betty Edgar, NW Region
