  I am more and more certain that the people who design,or rather refuse to 
design,human footwear have no idea at all what they are doing.They don't have 
to-yet-because the market at this point presents few to no alternatives.We wear 
the corners off the back of the heels of our shoes because there should be no 
material there to begin with.We wear the side off prematurely because the toe 
area/ front of the shoe is shaped in a way that no human foot has ever been 
shaped,and our toes are cramped.So we roll the foot over to the outside in 
compensation.If you find footwear you like,buy as many pair as you can 
find,because they will dissappear shortly,when the new styles neccesary to 
"short product cycle" marketing come out. I just ordered and will return a pair 
of "Ropers",not optimistic that they would be keepers.They weren't.Toes shaped 
like a blunt arrowhead.I already have plenty of footwear shaped like 
that,gathering mildew.
