[RC] I love my Big Horn - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I've had a Big Horn western saddle, model 284, for several years now, and I
love it. I've used it for several thousand training miles on my big Appendix
mare and it fits her well. This model has a QH/Arab tree which is a little
wider through the gullet than a semi-Qh and has wider endurance style panels.
It's the best balanced western saddle I've ever ridden in. I can move the
fenders to suit my leg position and can easily two-point in it for miles. A
couple of months ago I bit the bullet and sawed the horn off. Now its perfect!
It has a leather seat with cordura below, cost less than $1,000 Canadian, comes
with brass fittings and miles of ties, and seems to fit quite a few horses.
Check it out. (No, I don't work for Big Horn!)
