Re: [RC] Montana Ranch/Riding Vacations - Cowgirgoof

would really like to vacation there, north of the
Yellowstone area. I've been googling Montanta Guest Ranches, but nothing is
really standing out. Ideally, I'd like something on a working ranch where I
can move cattle and spend a lot of time in the saddle on a good horse. No
nose-to-tail trail rides. And, since it is a vacation, after all, a comfy
bed and great food (and wine!) would also be wonderful. If there were other
activities as well to round it out, that would be a real plus. I'd prefer a
ranch that caters to adults, not children and families.

If any of you have any personal suggestions, please let me know.

A good friend of mine worked a couple of summers at the 63 ranch in south west Montana. Check out their website. Just plug in 63 Ranch.
He says it's a great place and family owned. Nice horses and cabins/lodge.
