Horse that is capable of running 100 miles in the sand in excess of 14 
mph is more than an interesting athletes - they are awsome athletes. 
Those that have bemoned the UAE "buying all the good horses" should 
welcome the fact that there is a stallion in South America and is 
producing these amazing horses.

I've also ridden in denim and in spandex and I can also tell you that 
there is more than one kind of trail. One hundred miles of sand is a 
challenge every much that of rocks and inclines - especially when you 
have to run it at over 14 mph to be in the running.
