[RC] duel sanctioning - Ridecamp Guest

Cindy, who told you that you couldn't go back to your trailer?!! The only
requirement at the Ft Howes was that you proceed directly to the vets after
pulsing. Once you vetted, you could return to your trailer (as some people
did). Most people however choose to set up a crewing station by the vet check
because it is more convenient so I am curious as to why you got that impression.

Say what you want about FEI (and there are a lot of things I don't like about
it) but duel sanctioning has been the savior for many 100 mile rides especially
in this region. There are alot of people who are riding 100's again (or for the
1st time) because they want to ride in events like Pan Am and NAC. Those events
have had an impact on 100's that is similiar to the ROC. 100 milers were fast
disappearing in the MT region. No one makes people ride FEI-they choose to and
contrary to all the stuff bantered around on Ridecamp, for those riding in the
open division, there really aren't that many differences.
