I wanted to be the one to inform those on ridecamp who have not heard yet, but my good friend and sidekick for many rides and years needs a lot of prayers and thoughts during the next few months. Don Kasemeyer, husband of Susan, has been diagnosed with 4th stage adenocarcinoma of the abdomen and is in Blount Memorial Hospital, Room 553, Maryville, Tennessee. Please refrain from calling the hospital to check on his condition. Someone will try to update his condition on RC when needed. He is unable to talk on the phone and sometimes there is nobody to answer the phone. As most Southeast riders know, Don is a tireless worker and helper at many different rides. Please remember the Kasemeyers and the Barnetts in your prayers. Thank you.
