RE: [RC] [RC] Tail eating - Laurie Durgin

LMaybe "Bitter Apple" from Petsmart and other stores? I use it on shoes, and stuffed animals and whatever I don't want the puppy to eat.I also put MTG by Shapeley on my horses manes and the colt seemed to lay off chewing them when I did...

I have a 10 month old filly, Spice, that has a major tail fetish. Her best buddy, two year old Honey, now has a tail that is only 2 inches past the tail bone and her forelock is fading fast too. I've separated them, but with Honey's docile personality, the only pen I could put her in was one by herself as she won't assert herself against the big boys and gets chased too much. She's starting to get depressed, so I'd like to put her back in the mare pen, but I don't want her to lose all of her tail! Is there anything I can soak it in that will stay and will work and won't damage the hair?
