Re: [RC] best clippers - Barbara McCrary

Try Nasco Farm & Ranch supply. They have Oster Clipmasters for cattle,
several heavy-duty shears for sheep. They aren't cheap, however....run
around $250-$300. www.eNasco.com

Subject: [RC] best clippers

Does anybody have good advice for a set of clippers that can stand up to
mane and body clipping on a very wooly mule? The $35 Wahl ones in our barn
are not up to the job? Have seen some monsters but cannot find them
anywhere....

Common sense should also be a part of the decision making process. If
you see someone who doesn't have any, hand them your tool box.

We are talking about all the tools we can use to keep our horses safe and
alive at the rides. Training/conditioning is one of the best tools
available. It makes us better horseman and women, it benefits our horses
and could quite possibly be the key to preventing most crashes.
