Re: [RC] [RC-Digest] Vol: 03.1089 when will they learn - Chipnml

Ed, don't feel bad about Ranger's behavior.  I've been taking Cheers out now that we have snow (therefor decent footing).  The only problem is I can't make a complete loop in the winter so we have to go to a point then turn around.  Then he becomes the horse-from-hell.  If I make him walk, he wants to trot.  If I let him trot, he tries to run.  I haven't worked up to the courage to let him just run...who knows what he'll want to do after that. It's like trying to do half-halts on a freight train. You've ridden with me; compared to Cheers, Ranger's a cupcake!  And Cheers is 17 with over 2300 miles. If it's less than 15 miles, he just doesn't take riding seriously.
