Guess I should have worded it more like "many of the horses on this list don't have a lot of experience", (tho, some do) rather than making it sound like I was only referring to the non-arabs. I don't think that anybody should ever assume that their horse can't die at or following ride because of whatever reason (especially any kind of statistics). I think that new riders need to be especially cautious, and as they learn continue to be cautious, and it doesn't hurt to pay a little closer attention to a horse of whatever breed or type that may be less suited to such a demanding athletic endeavor.
