Re: [RC] Favorite Rides in 2004 - TypeF \(Jackie Floyd\)I thought that I would take an idea that I saw on another newsgroup and post my favorite rides in 2004 ... My favorite ride, hands-down for 2004 was Wild West I, II, III. Ducking under the branches and ferns on the single track trail, making turns down into what seemed like there could be no trail, only to find yourself enveloped closely in the trees. Cool ride. It was also the first time I got to share with my husband some of the trails we ride. Most definitely on my list to do in 2005. New Cuyama Oaks XP runs a close second. Beautiful territory. Grand Canyon makes it for a great view but I doubt I'll be going back for awhile, due to my terrible altitude sickness that made the ride so tough for me. But I do have to say there weren't many I didn't enjoy in 2004! After all, they were all new to me except Fireworks, East Bay and Eastern High Sierra Classic.
