RE: [RC] [RC] [RC] Club feet-vet/farrier advice requested? - heidi

But even if we all agree that we would like to give our horses more room
to move and more exercise, how can we do it when we have to board the
horse in pipe corrals and barns and our schedules just don't give us
enough time for riding?

Alas, nothing in life is ever ideal, is it? <sigh> One can help offset
the problem of confinement (at least as it applies to high-low syndrome)
somewhat by regular trimming and by making what riding time one DOES have
really count--do some dressage work to help the horse achieve symmetry,
and work on the trail to make sure you use both diagonals at a trot, both
leads at a canter, and ride as well-balanced as you can.
