Re: [RC] Ways to power a horse trailer? - Lynne Glazer

You really should visit the link Karen posted. <http://www.phrannie.org>

Our sort of camping is called "boondocking" (no hookups), and this guy is an expert. Tons of info in the "poop sheets" there for ways to camp for weeks at a time, plenty on solar and other electrical considerations.

I have been researching everybodies suggestions and was wondering about golf
cart batteries? Would they work for something like this and anybody have pros
and cons? Also does anybody have specific inverters and batteries that work
great? Brands to avoid? Also can anybody point me to or send me a wiring
diagram for wiring batteries, inverter and trailer power, also how to hook up
the truck to recharge it going down the road. The lights in my trailer already
work when the trailer is unhooked so I am guessing some of the wiring is
already in place. Thanks guys your all a HUGE help!
