Sounds like a pain response to me if she's sweet and responsive on the ground.

I'd check:
Teeth--a real equine dentist that uses a speculum to get those last molars
Find a reliable chiro check her spine from poll to tail.


Does the saddle fit? Might not fit the same post pregnancy.

Doubt very much that it's hormonal.

was the one we let the kids ride, she still sweet on
the ground and to work around. just don't saddle her
up.
