We don't know that the majority of AERC members is happy the way it is because no one's ever asked them. I started a petition to put this before the members as a Bylaws revision, but for various reasons didn't follow through. I still believe a majority of AERC members would support a minimum age for riders, but it takes a 2/3 majority to change the Bylaws and I don't know if we would get that. But regardless of where the majority lies, I still believe as strongly as ever that the AERC should have a minimum age for juniors, that it is irresponsible of the AERC to not have one, and the fact that we don't is likely to come back to haunt us someday. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
