[RC] Tying Up - Ridecamp Guest

Please Reply to: Lauretta tikitiki69@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
==========================================

Please forgive a probably stupid and ignorant question, but if you don't ask,
you won't learn. I have never (luckily) had a horse 'tie up', and was
wondering what the symptoms are (ie how do you tell the horse is officially
'tied up' and not just lame from an injury)?? It appears that it can be caused
by several different metabolic conditions, but I have never 'seen it up close'
and want to take steps to make sure I don't have to. Thanks! (Lauretta and
Shaba, who is incredibly forgiving of his mom's shortcomings and lack of horse
knowledge)
