[RC] Cost of shoeing - Michael Maul

Even in places only a short distance apart costs can vary widely.

In South San Jose, CA - shoeing several years ago was in the $75 range., In Palo Alto and the Stanford area - the same farrier would get $140 for the same work.

It's more what the local income is than what it costs in some areas.
