Re: [RC] [RC] Cost of Shoeing - RDCARRIE - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Lauretta tikitiki69@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I live outside of Woodland, Ca, and TRAILER my horse almost two hours away to Grass Valley to get his feet done; the farriers in my area NEVER called back, and the ones I did get out were terrible (one trimmed his foot slanted so that the hoof sloped at an angle and wasnt even flat on the bottom; I had to have it redone by someone else). I pay $85 for trim and shoes, and it is worth every penny. The farrier I use rides endurance, knows what does and doesnt work, and I would trailer even farther in order to have him shoe the horse. What was mentioned previously is true; price should not be the object (within reason, of course!!); its the quality that counts... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
