[RC] mules in endurance - Ed Kilpatrick

here are a few things you need to know about mules.   mules weigh more according to their size than anything except an anvil.  the only way to keep mules in a pasture is to put them in a field next to the pasture, so that when they jump out, they will be where you want them. if you are good to your mule, the mule will be good to you, but if you are bad, the mule will bet you back.  mules can breathe through their ears.  i once heard of a mule that pulled barges up the erie canal.  he fell off the towpath, into the canal, and continued pulling by walking on the bottom and breathing through his ears, which stuck up 3 feet and 6 inches above the water.    i never heard anybody say, "dead mule", so i guess mules dont die, they just come back as baptist preachers!    hope this helps.    ed
