[RC] electrocution from tank heater - Jonni

Are there out door Ground Fault Interrupters that I can attache to my
heater cord in-between the electrical cord that I have to run 125 ft. to my
water tank? <<<

Yes, there are portable GFI's. They even have some at Wal-Mart. I have some
that are yellow, about the size of a Twinkie. They have some that are even
higher end. Here is a link that showed one contractors use. BUT, most tank
heaters tell you, do NOT use long extension cords etc. to run them. I'd make
sure the cord is extra heavy duty also. I drilled a hole in my barn, and
placed the tank next to the barn, and can plug in direct to a receptacle,
which has a GFI (portable).

Here is an article that explains GFI's a bit.
