Those noisy 4 wheelers scare me! Pay the atv guy
to attend some training sessions. You follow the atv at some distance,
gradually get closer. When your horse gets braver/relaxed at following then you
can pass and lead some distance ahead. It may take several sessions until
your horse will be calm as the atv approaches from behind and then passes. Turn
the horse in tight circles if he starts to freak, first one way and then
another... in other words try to gain control of his mind doing
something.
