<sigh>  Again, it is not about being "too rash in your assessment"--it is
a philosophical disagreement about how we can make the most difference as
individuals, as endurance riders, as a country.  It is disheartening to be
labeled as somehow not willing to admit that atrocities occur, or as being
less than caring about them, simply because we feel that isolationism is
not the most effective response.
