I love my Roper brand athletic style HorseShoes. 

I use these, too.  I've had them for many years, they look a little
different than the current models.  The only thing I'm not crazy
about is how heavy and hot they are.  I don't know if the current 
ones are lighter?  

They are also quite wide on the outside due to how thick they are.
It's not a problem with my trail stirrups, but it did cause me to
get my foot stuck in an English iron once (I use small/kid's irons,
since that's what I fit with paddock boots) while dismounting on
concrete and did land on my head.  That's the worst fall I've
ever had from a horse, and the horse wasn't even moving...
