[RC] [RC] time off between rides - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I'm thinking of doing my first slow 50 this weekend at Hallelujah
but it will be only 2 weeks after we did 2- 25's atYellowhammer.

I'm very new to this sport, but I have to say that if people
can do multidays, I don't know why back-to-back 50s should be any
problem. Especially if you say you're planning on doing it slow.

I've done really tough 50s with only a week between (Malibu &
Lost Padres II -- turtled at both). I've also done 50s with two
weeks between, and my mare was SO fit & full of energy at the
second that she acted like a goofball all day -- which is out of
character for her. And this is a horse in her first year of
50s.  So, it's certainly possible.
