[RC] window of optimum feeding time - Candace Kahn

Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for sharing that information.  When I do an endurance ride I don't feed in the morning before the ride but take a semi-soft mash of beet pulp and pelleted feed in a Nag Bag and carry it in my cantle bag.  About an hour into the ride I dismount and slip the Nag Bag over Rougie's head and proceed to walk down the trail while Rougie is eating his mash. When he is finished I'll take off the Nag Bag, stick it in my cantle again and off we go.  Now, since you have shared this info I will start taking some on my conditioning rides - makes sense to me.

With Warm Regards,
Candy
