Re: [RC] 100s & no training time - Tina Hicks

I've had the same problem. I work full time & have to trailer to ride anywhere. I can only train 1X a week! I ride 15 - 25 miles on Saturday & that's it. My solution has been to go really slowly with my gelding.

I'm wondering how many others are in the same boat? Where they really only "train" once a week?

Like most people, I have less and less places to ride w/out trailering due to development around the barn. Fortunately, one of the places I trailer to is close enough to trailer during the week if I hurry :) But I can see a time where I would also have to trailer to do anything other than dressage type riding -which we know has many benefits but is not the same as riding 15 - 20 miles of trails.
