[RC] Generators - GarnerTWe always take our generator with us. We've had to use it for emergencies - a few times a light has been left on in the camper & our battery ran down, another time our neighbor's truck & trailer batteries were dead - so the generator has been a life saver! We always try to be considerate of our neighbors & run it during a time that will not disturb people. We also just have run it for 15 minutes or so while we're doing something that requires electricity. We never run it late at night (we both teach & we think 8:00 - 8:30 is late!). Consideration is the key. We don't use it for heating (we snuggle), & we don't use it for TV/VCR/DVD. For heaven's sake, read or talk to each other! In addition, we purchased a small honda generator.
