[RC] tendon injuries - Alice Yovich

You would be right. My friend whose horse did this had both tendons severed. The woman who owned him, had him sewn up but as he recovered, the tendons grew into one, very large tendon. Then when she started to work him, it pretty much blew apart. I guess the woman thought she'd spend $200 and get him sewn up and then sell him to an unsuspecting person. GRRRR.

Of course, I'm also picturing that if a horse's tendon is severed
accidentally, that BOTH the deep & superficial tendons would be
cut?? I can't see that healing correctly, but that's just my
gut reaction.
