Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] Saddles and more and more - Lynne Glazer

Boots sold for *performance* support are used for 24/7 rehab in humid weather??

I'm sorry, but that seems like an error in judgement. I used one of those sports medicine boots on an injury overnight and got huge swelling on the entire length of the tendon sheath. That was a clue, and I never used them again for anything, sold them.

I'm glad you found something else.

Please, people, don't use stuff for other than what it was intended unless you really think out the ramifications.

I do not own anything neoprene because of heat build up... My mare got major heat burns on her front legs from wearing Professionals Choice Sport boots while injured in her stall. I now have Ortho Equine (Martha Josey's Company) that are truly breathable. The difference is amazing and apparent. When Star tore her tendon and she was booted/wrapped 24 hours a day her legs sweated under the Pro Choice, they got fungus, they were awful. The Ortho Equines had very little sweat, no fungus, and no heat burns. Steph
