As the owner of a number of purposely slow horses I really 
appreciated 
your comment that on a beautiful trail, a slow horse can be better 
than 
a fast one.  

I'm finding that a horse with a "slower mind set" is part of an overall
well rounded exercise routine. My old horse worked mostly my upper body.
Now that I'm riding less motivated ones I'm getting more of an inner
thigh work out. :-)
