>Blinkers? Does anyone know where one would acquire blinkers?

>You might try changing sides...Some times a horse doesn't want anyone on one
>side and if you change sides...things might be ok.
>Blinkers would be safer than a blindfold. Of course a divider in the trailer
>that goes to the floor would be the safest. But, if that is not possible...
>you might try hobbles. There are many different kinds of hobbles, but one is
>one hind foot to the opposite front foot...thus when she kicks she pulls her
>own front foot. But, practice that in the barn yard and not in the trailer.

> One of my mares kicks at the other horse in our two-horse stock trailer
> (which has a manger). I put a curtain between their faces over the manger
>up
> in front, which worked but only for a year. Now I'm thinking of
>blindfolding
> the kicker when she's in the trailer.
>
> Any comments? In particular, any ideas about where to buy a blindfold or
> designs for a homemade one?
