A big thanks to ride managers, vets,
volunteers......all who helped put on this great ride! Fortunately, the weather
forecasters were a bit off with their warnings of triple digit temps. I don't
know how hot it did get, but there was plenty of creek crossings to cool down in
and the terrain was pretty easy going compared to where we usually train. Our
horses, Storm & Shadow, did great....this was our 4th ride and
they get better every time. The dinner was delicious, and the prizes
(sweatshirts) much appreciated, as was the "people" & horsie water provided
by Karen Nelson out on the long 2nd loop. Everyone we met at camp & on
the trail was friendly and helpful. What a great group of
people!
