I've got a Rocky Mountain that has been clocked at 15 MPH.  It's not very comfortable at that speed but he can do it.  It's almost like real fast running walk but more out of control.  I like the 4 to 6 MPH the best.  I also have a Walkaloosa that is very fast but I can't sit the seat on him at that speed.
