[RC] Update on ride photography question - Streaked Mountain 30/50 - sharon1359Thanks to all who replied privately to my question on ride photography last week. I wanted to give you an update. Everything went great! I took 129 digital shots (66 of which I printed), and 4 rolls of film. The prints were on display at the awards ceremony. Everyone seemed to really love them. I got asked several times whether I was a professional... and when I said no, I was told that I SHOULD be. (How lovely to hear!) A few people left before awards, but the folks who stayed each bought from 2-10 prints. Anyway, just wanted to say "thank you" to all who replied to my question, and to all the wonderful riders at Streaked Mountain last weekend. Thank you for verbally appreciating my dawnbreak hike as you rode by on the mountain, and thank you for buying lots of pictures! :) OH! I almost forgot. As I hiked back back down the mountain on Saturday, I took a bunch of scenic photos of the trail. But I'm not sure anyone really saw them in the photo lineup. Also, if you were at the ride but left before the pictures were ready, email me at sharon1359(at)spamcop(dot)net to see proofs of all the photos of you and your horse. 4x6 prints are $5, and there is a 10% discount if you buy more than four.
