[RC] Free n Easy Saddle questions - Ridecamp Guest

Ok, after much searching & reading archived posts on several of the panel 
saddles, I have a question for owners of short-backed horses using Free n Easy 
saddles.  I read several posts about the Am-Flex rubbing loins on short-backed 
horses.  I didn't see any mention of that on the Free n Easy comments, but I'm 
not sure if that's because no one is having that problem, or if none of them 
had short-backed horses.  so...

Any Free n Easy saddle owners out there riding short-backed horses?  Please 
weigh in.  I am so so close to making a decision.  I've also heard someone 
recommend buying spare pads when you order.  Is there any other advice on 
must-have gear? (or even must-have-if-you're-looking-to-pamper-your-horse)
