I am proud to ride a 14 hand gelding and just started on a 14.2
hand stallion. I prefer the smaller horses, I am 5.6 in height. I grew up riding
a 14 hand stallion (sire of two above) and it is just what I feel most
comfortable with. I have raced the gelding to the finish line several times
and have yet to be beat, even by a 16.2 horse carrying a fly weight and we
came from way behind each time.
