[RC] flippy nose - Michelle Fink

Hi,

What is the correct way to ride a horse that wants to flip their nose up
occasionally? My young morab is doing it occasionally in response to me
asking her to turn - it looks a lot like the 'Arab head snake'. Seems more
like goofing off than being seriously naughty.

She has had complete dental work, but is still fussy with the bit (was using
a Myler, just switched to a Sprenger D french link). A running martingale
looks like the easy solution, but I presume there is a 'better riding'
solution, too?

Happy Trails,
Michelle
