Re: [RC] hot nail - Maggie MieskeI have to comment. We have NEVER had a hot nail using these shoes. Not being able to "see" where the nail goes doesn't wash with me....a farrier (at least a good one) can FEEL when the nail is right or not. Nelson has never had a problem using these shoes. We posted his "procedure" on Ridecamp before and I know people have used them without a problem (no washers either...the nails do NOT work themselves up into the foot!).
