RE: [RC] [RC] Free N' Easy again...sry - terry banister

Then you may want to check out the American-Flex saddles (www.american-flex.com) because they are self-adjusting and have the most advanced, patented, flexible-panel system (System VII).
As you probably know, all the flex-panel saddles originated from the Orthoflex concept, and they all use Delrin panels, but in order to avoid patent infringements, the way the panels are cut, layered, shaped and mounted are different on each. So are the warranties different.

The seat on the Free-n-Easy is very similar to the Reactor Panel, which some people like, but some people aren't comfortable in it. The American-Flex saddles offer 20 different seat styles. Most endurance friendly are the deep seat "Cutback" (which I have been riding for nearly 1,000 miles) or the "Endurance Lite," which has a flatter seat. The Cutback is very secure and balanced and with the extra-padded seat (available in two sizes), it doesn't even need a sheepskin. All the AF saddles are now being shipped with Carbon trees, which makes them about 4 pounds lighter than any of the other panel saddles on the market.

American-Flex offers a 10-day, money-back trial period (you can negotiate for longer), and the warranty is the best on the market and the customer service is great. Cathy Tauer, Hillview Farms, the MN distributor has been in the flex-panel business since being a top salesperson in the first years of Orthoflex and knows the evolution of the Panel Systems and each of the companies first-hand. She can answer any questions you may have.

Hello.
I am the one who first posted an e-mail asking what people thought about their Free N Easy saddles.  Well, I have ridden in quite a few saddles myself, a stubben, a couple westerns, an express lite orthoflex, an old traditional orthoflez, and 2 other types of english saddles.  And I have never had to adjust anything on my saddle.  I never wanted a saddle that I had to "adjust", for people who don't know me, I ride a lot of different horses.  And let em tell you...they are ALL different body sizes from my own very refined arab gelding to a big stout quarter horse looking arabian gelding.  I like my orthoflex for that very reason, it fits just about thing.  And my dad and I have never really been into, lets get a saddle for this certain horse because we have never had problems with any of our horses backs.  We just put the saddle we have on them and ride off and they are always perfect.

My concern is, almost all of you keep saying you ahve to "adjust" your saddle.  Well, my dad is making me sell my "pecious" orthoflex saddle if I get a new one.  And trust me...I need a new one.  But if I get a new saddle, I don't want to ahve to adjust my saddle every time I ride a new horse.  And a lot of you said, well I would get a professional to come adjust your saddle.  Well the thing is, I don't have the time money, or patience to have a person come out every time I ride a different horse.  I might be thinking this wrong, and please do correct me(but don't be mean plase:(!!!) But it has made it SOUND like everyone who has this saddle has "adjusted" it for a certain horse.  Can anyone help me?  I am thinking about also gettin a new stubben since that was my very first saddle and I LOVED it and I enver had to adjust it to the 5-6 different hroses I rod e:)!!!   SO if anyone can tell me about the whole adjust me thing, please let me know.

I do realize though that with most saddles, they ask for a measurement of the horses back so they can alreayd pre-fit it, but I have never had that happenw ith any saddles before. hm...

thank you all!
