RE: [RC] [RC] White Legs - Howard Bramhall

Generally speaking, there does seem to be more density in a darker hoof than in a white one. I think this is where the horse hoof color concept comes from. The darker hoof might hold a nail better.

Please don't jump on me over this because horses' hooves have become my life (I seem to have a horse hoof fetish) so, well, I am sensitive in this area. Disagree, if you must, but, please, be sensitive.

lol. I bet some of ya might be having trouble with that, huh? jk

Tennessee, it's the place to be, the place for me, my Tennessee. Susan Kasemeyer is getting letters of condolences from some of ya'll less sensitive types because I'll soon be living there and, well, IT'S CRACKING ME UP!!!! This will not stop me!

cya,
Howard (football season will be different for me this year, cause, I'll always be a gator, but, I do so love my part of Tennessee)

I agree with Barbara, I would NEVER let the color of any part of a horse, or the sex, keep me from buying a good prospect. I just did 900+ miles of the XP2004 and of my three mares, more than half of their legs were white and one had a white nose. Other than keeping Desitin on the white nose, we had ZERO problems with sunburn or scratches, with very little effort on my part. As a farrier, I don't feel that white feet are a detriment at all. A good horse is a good horse.
