[RC] Susan G: feeding during ride - A. Perez

Doing my first LD soon. I would like to use an elyte I can
mix in feed, as my horse is tall and hard to syringe. He also
sweats alot, so I was planning to mix it into Complete Advantage
with lots of water. I know you don't advocate feeding alot of
grain during a ride, but since C.A. is is a beat-pulp based
food, is this OK to feed, with hay, during a ride? My horse
does not reliably drink while under saddle, and is not wild
about straight beet pulp, but does like C.A., and so I really
want to get as much wet sloppy stuff into him as possible during
the ride.

Thanks!
