Iron is apparently toxic to the liver, so signs of toxicity are generally
the same as signs of liver failure.  There can be colic in some cases as
well, as it tends to irritate the GI tract.

Liver failure can cause neurological symptoms as well, so neuro workups
often include a liver panel.

Iron toxicity can be tricky to diagnose, from what I understand.  (I've
never personally had to deal with a case of it.)
