Ditto that, and keep in mind that excess iron can also cause anemia and
other toxicity problems--I'd wager that anemia due to excess iron is FAR
more common than that due to deficiency of iron.

Have known several folks over the years who have had horses with iron
toxicity due to high levels in well water in some areas.  We have a few
wells like that in this area, and I'm eternally grateful that mine isn't
one of them!
