Replace or cover them. you could glue sheepskin or fake fleece or polar fleece to them with Fabric glue (in crafts or fabric store, glue sets and is washable). You'd have to experiment, make sure it didn't dry hard)---Or have a shoe repair guy sew some on. Or take them off and buy leather ones---- or put endglish leathers on----etc......
